Both Cottages come with:

Complimentary Taxi pick-up from the Ferry Terminal or Airstrip on Caye Caulker. **3 night stay or longer**

Complimentary Bicycles to use while you stay with us.

1 x 5 Gallon Jug of water for a 2-4 night stay

2 x 5 Gallon Jugs of Filtered Water for a 5 night stay or longer (each additional is $3.50USD)

Full Kitchen, including:  Pots/Pans, Dinnerware, Stove/Oven, Fridge/Freezer, Coffee Machine, Toaster, Coffee Machine, and Microwave.
Fire Extinguisher, Smoke Detector, Hot/Cold Water, A/C, Ceiling Fans, LCD TV with Netflix, music, and Games.  Veranda with Chairs, and Umbrellas (just in case)

Fresh Bed Linens, Bath Towels, Hand Towels, Face cloths, Beach Towels, Iron, and Hair Dryer.

Coffee, Tea, Creamer, Sugar, Spices, Hand Soaps,  Dish soap, dish cloth,  

We are located 5 minutes South of the Main Town area, and exactly 1 Mile from the popular “Split” and Lazy Lizard bar/beach area.  You can click on the Map for a bigger Image

Definitely!  We have Families stay regularly usually in the 2 Bedroom Cottage.  The only caveat is that we don’t have smaller bicycles for kids under 12 years old.

There isn’t a Hospital, but there is a Health Center that is open during the day, and they are also on Call for after hour Emergencies.

Yes!   There are 3 Grocery stores within a 3 block radius of The Lily Pad.  They all carry meats, veggies, some fruits, hardware, cigs, Alcohol, bug sprays, juices, etc.

Yes!  Heritage Bank and Atlantic Bank have locations on the Island.  Atlantic Bank has a 24 Hour bank machine to withdraw some Belize Dollars.  You can use your foreign debit/bank cards and the fees aren’t too bad.   We use our Canadian cards to take out cash.

There are also 2 Pharmacies on the Island as well just in case you need some pills/meds.

The trip from the Airport to the 2 Ferry Terminals in Belize City takes 20-30 minutes

You can either buy your tickets online in advance, or just show up and buy your ticket 15 minutes before the boat departs.

The 2 Ferry Terminals are 300 meters from each other ( a 4 minute walk)

There are 2 Ferry Terminals in Belize City approx. 2 blocks from each other.

The Caribbean Sprinter which is a locally owned service (faster boats)

and The San Pedro Belize Express which can handle more people in peak times.

We usually choose the Sprinter service to support local business owners and they aren’t always as busy as the SPBExpress.

Yes, pretty much every small business or restaurant will take USD in Caye Caulker.  The USD is stamped at 2:1 so if something is $10 BZD, the cost would be $5 USD.

Lily Pad Check-in is 3pm – 7pm as the last Ferry boat is at 5:30pm (arriving at 6:15pm)   If you need an earlier check-in, we will try to accommodate depending on availability.

If you are taking a late flight to the Island (usually until 9pm) we will accommodate a later check-in time.

Check-out time is by 11am

The Golf cart taxis on the Island cost $5/person (USD) to go anywhere on the Island.

eg. 4 people getting a taxi to the Split area would be $20USD one way
